As we know，Both of “几”&“多少”is question phrase，used to ask about numbers，but do you know their difference？
（1）“几”is often used to ask about numbers Less than10，and a measure word is need between it and noun, so the pattern is:
几 + Measure word + Noun.
For Example：
nǐ yào mǎi jǐ jīn pín guǒ ？
你要买几斤苹果？
How many kilos of apple do you want?
nǐ yào mǎi jǐ bēi kā fēi ？
你要买几杯咖啡？
How many cups of coffee do you want?
nǐ yǒu jǐ gè hái zi ？
你有几个孩子？
How many kids do you have?
xiàn zài jǐ diǎn le ？
现在几点了？
What’s the time?
（2）“多少”could used to ask about any numbers, and in a sentence, the measure word is optional:
多少 (+ Measure word )+ Noun.
nǐ de gōngsī yǒu duōshǎo (gè) rén?
你的公司有多少（个）人？
How many people do you have in your company?
nǐ jiā yǒu duōshǎo (jiān) fángzi?
你家有多少（间）房子？
How many room in your home？
wǒmen yào dìng duōshǎo hé yuèbǐng?
我们要买多少（盒）月饼？
How many box of mooncake do we need to buy？
